This new version is a significant update to MEGA’s enterprise architecture platform with a focus on collaboration, UX, and data governance
MEGA International, a global software company, has announced the launch of HOPEX V5, MEGA’s next-generation enterprise architecture (EA) platform offering a greater connected EA repository, automation, and smart recommendations through machine learning. HOPEX V5 is a Next-Gen EA platform which helps enterprise architects accelerate transformation projects and address the challenges of the digital world.
New features of MEGA’s next-generation HOPEX V5 include:
- Connected EA – joining enterprise architecture, business process management, data governance, and risk perspectives on a single shared platform
- Automation – automatic discovery of applications, processes, and data along with auto-diagraming functionalities to accelerate projects and improve productivity
- Smart insights and recommendations – new dashboard generating engine allows for the building of custom dashboards that better analyse data, and a new recommendation module enables improved application rationalisation and cloud migration
“We have developed the only solution in the marketplace that can foster collaboration between all business and IT transformation stakeholders by combining enterprise architecture, business process, risk management, and data governance on a single shared platform,” says Luca de Risi, Chief Operating Officer for MEGA. “HOPEX V5 is the result of MEGA’s 30 years of experience partnering with organisations to help them build their EA practice with an outcome-driven approach that provides faster time-to-value.”
HOPEX V5 brings updates to MEGA’s entire product suite with a specific focus on usability improvements that simplify the HOPEX platform for greater user experience. The launch of HOPEX V5 introduces a newly created data governance solution empowering organisations to understand and govern how data is captured, used, and transformed. Additionally, new modules were developed for users to better oversee IT compliance and business continuity management that protect and improve business resiliency.
This is part of MEGA’s “Next-Gen Enterprise Architecture” strategy which “includes building on the company’s newly released discovery features, so that users may have a greater value through cross-referencing the discovered data with advanced intelligence and insights which could be applied to the newly discovered data, as well as to the proposed architectures, “said analysts in the 2021 EA Spark Matrix report.
